Nadene Lomu, widow of All Black great Jonah Lomu, has started a cosmetics company.
The mother-of-two has launched her new venture, trading as NL - Nadene Lomu Cosmetics - as a way of overcoming her grief for her late husband, she says.
A blurb on her new website acknowledges how difficult she found life after her husband's death in November 2015.
"Pondering on her passions and her happier days, Nadene then knew what she needed to do.
"Creating Nadene Lomu Cosmetics would be her way of expressing the creativity she had shared with Jonah and that they had both loved so much.
"That was the start of Nadene reinventing her life, as an example, to their two sons Brayley and Dhyreille."
Nadene did not respond to requests for comment, but on her site, she goes on to say how she feels about the new collection and what she hopes it can bring to women who purchase them.
"I wanted to bring quality products to ladies of all ages and ethnicities without them having to pay high-end price tags,'' she writes.
"I think every girl, lady or mama deserves to be complimented - and this was my way of helping them all feel brighter on a dully day. My husband always complimented me, there wasn't a day that went by that he didn't.''
Her new line of make-up products include a lipgloss range, mascara, eyebrow pencils, eyelash serums and a range of manicure products.
Nadene says the names of her lipstick colours - such as Resilience - all have a story behind them.
Jonah Lomu died on November 18, 2015 after a long battle with kidney issues.
