Police investigating an aggravated robbery at a TAB where a patron was cut with a knife have released photos of a man they want to speak with.
They've examined CCTV footage of the incident, which happened at the Petone TAB on Jackson St at 7.55pm on June 21 and are appealing to the public to help them identify the man pictured.
He's described as Causcasian, aged 30 to 40 and is about 1.80m tall and clean shaven. He was wearing dark clothing.
Hutt Valley police asked anyone who knows the man or have information that might help them identify him to call them on 04 381 2000 on contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mike Sears earlier said the alleged offender, who is described as a Caucasian man aged in his 30s or 40s, got into a scuffle with an employee after entering the premises.
Two patrons intervened and one suffered superficial cut to his right forearm.
The man then fled with an unknown amount of cash through the front doors, heading south on to Nelson St.
