A service station in Auckland's north-west was held up this morning, and the attendant was threatened with a knife.
Three men who had their faces covered stormed into the BP in Kumeu on State Highway 16 about 5.50am.
They stole money from the cash register and cigarettes.
A police spokeswoman said the attendant was talking with police.
A number of police remain at the service station, which is closed.
