Police investigating a daylight robbery at a South Auckland dairy are on the hunt for two men caught on CCTV camera in the shop.
At 12.45pm on Thursday the pair entered the dairy on Mangere Rd in Otahuhu - armed with a crowbar.
Police said they threatened the shopkeeper, demanding money and using the crowbar to smash the counter.
"This was a terrifying experience for the shopkeeper," a police spokeswoman said.
The pair fled the dairy and were seen running on Mangere Rd.
Police are appealing to the public to help them identify and catch the brazen pair.
Both of the alleged robbers can be seen clearly in the CCTV footage, released by police this week.
The taller of the pair is wielding the crowbar, gripping it with both hands.
If you recognise either of the males, or have information about the robbery, please contact Detective James Ralph on 09 261 1300.
