Car and train collide in Matamata, power lines down

A car and a freight train have collided at Matamata in Waikato.

Nobody was injured in the crash but power lines have been brought down and roads are closed.

Emergency services are at the scene.

Police have closed roads at State Highway 27, Beatty Rd, Firth St and Burwood Rd.
