A two-truck crash on Auckland's Northern Motorway is delaying motorists this morning.

A police spokeswoman said two trucks crashed between the southbound Greville Rd off ramp and Upper Harbour Highway.

The two drivers suffered minor injuries. Motorists can expect delays both ways.

"We ask that motorists be patient," the spokeswoman said.

An NZTA tweet said the crash was blocking one lane.

It advised motorists to avoid Oteha Valley and Greville Rd citybound on-ramps, and use East Coast Rd and enter the motorway further south.

A tow truck was on the way.
