A man allegedly assaulted a woman in downtown Auckland after preaching to her about Jesus.
The man, seen wearing a white and red jumper, blue jeans and Nike sneakers, approached the woman in the city centre and asked her about Jesus before leading her down a nearby alley way.
Police have issued a plea for help identifying the man on the Auckland City Police Facebook page.
They allege that around 9am on Sunday, October 23 the man approached a young female walking down Queen St and started discussing with her "whether Jesus was in her life".
He then led her down Durham St West where he has indecently assaulted her. She called out for help and the male left.
The man is shown to be wearing a white jumper with red stripes, dark blue jeans and Nike sneakers.
He is carrying a black shopping bag with writing on it, and appears to be of Indian descent.
