A West Auckland teenager has been reported missing for the second time in a month.

Police say they have "serious concerns" for Talia Benfell, 14, who was last seen on 19 October at 12.30pm when she left her caregiver's address in Green Bay, Waitakere.

Benfell was missing for 10 days in early October and found just four days before she disappeared again.

Benfell also went missing on May 25 and was found in Wellington on 10 June

"This is not the first time Talia has gone missing however due to her age we want to locate her as soon as possible," a police spokesperson said.

"She could possibly be in the Waitakere or Auckland area however it is also possible that she has travelled to Wellington."

Benfell is is described as Caucasian, with recently dyed blonde hair, around 168cm tall and of medium build.
