A sea of yellow rubber duckies rode the rapids today in a bid to raise money for needy community groups.
The Great Auckland Duck Race & Salmon Run kicked off with 5000 small ducks released into white water at the Vector Wero Whitewater Park in south Auckland.
The family fun day saw local schools and businesses decorate sponsored ducks and then race them down the man-made river.
There were ducks dressed as doctors, superheroes, princesses and a flock of ducks dressed as Donald Trump - complete with comb-overs and trademark navy suits.
Money raised from the duck races sponsored by local businesses went to Life Education
Trust and other local community groups.
Organiser Sarah Nuttall said the first name of the winner in the 5000 strong "Everybody Race" was - you guessed it - Donald.
