Police seek witnesses to bike vs vehicle crash in Invercargill

Police are looking to speak to a woman driver involved in a bike versus vehicle crash in Invercargill on Friday evening.

The woman was driving in her vehicle collided with a young man riding a bike at the intersection of Otepuni Ave and Inglewood Rd in the southern city.

The accident happened at about 7.30am as the driver was turning into Inglewood Rd from Otepuni Ave.

Police said the cyclist was knocked off his bicycle and received minor injuries in the accident.

The driver did speak to the cyclist before leaving the scene.

However, police said they'd still like to speak to the woman driver and anyone else who might have witnessed the crash.
