All 15,000 tickets for next year's Taupo Summer Concert have sold out in record time.
It's part of the nationwide Summer Concert Tour featuring Australian rock legends Icehouse in their first headlining shows in New Zealand for 20 years, the multi-talented Alan Parsons Live Project, and Bonnie Tyler.
Show organisers Greenstone Entertainment have been blown away by the popularity for next year's line-up who will be rocking concert goers at the Taupo Amphitheatre on January 28th.
Tickets for the Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert in Queenstown have reached 90% sell out as well.
"In its 6 year history we might have expected our shows to sell out in the weeks leading into each concert but this is the first time we have experienced a sell out for one of our shows only 8 weeks after going on sale," said Greenstone Entertainment CEO Amanda Calvert.
"It certainly shows our fans love not just the amazing line up of 70's and 80's acts we strive to deliver each year, but also the unique afternoon atmosphere and idyllic holiday locations around the country where we're blessed to hold the concerts."
" We want to thank everyone for their ongoing support and encourage those still needing tickets for the Queenstown or Whitianga show to secure them before they too sell out."
Tickets for the Gibbston Valley Winery Summer Concert in Queenstown and the Whitianga Summer Concert can be purchased through Ticketek for $99 plus booking fee.
