Violent attackers labelled "cowards" by police are still being sought after three people were knocked out in one punch assaults in central Auckland.
In a bid to find those responsible, Auckland City Police this week released graphic footage of the attacks that happened on July 2.
CCTV footage showed those believed to be behind the attacks knocking three victims unconscious with single punches in completely unprovoked attacks.
Detective Inspector Chris Cahill said it was incredibly alarming to see such violent behaviour, which can have life-altering consequences for victims.
A police spokeswoman said today that the appeal had gained some information from the public, but more was needed.
"We have had information coming in from the public but are still asking for anyone who can help us identify the offenders to come forward," she said.
Police urge any members of the public who may know who these offenders are, or have witnessed these events to contact Constable Luke Curran on 021 191 2672 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
