Another Hawke's Bay school will close following the Havelock North water contamination issue.

Yesterday Haumoana school closed after a private bore, which supplies their water, tested positive for E.coli.

Clive School has announced it will be closed today as a precaution.

The school said although it had its own private bore, and no children had had gastro symptoms as a result of drinking the school water, the safety of staff and students was put first.

The bore had been tested yesterday, and parents would be notified today when the school received confirmation of their water test samples.
