Police are appealing for sightings of a woman who left her farm between Te Awamutu and Otorohanga on Monday and hasn't been seen since.

Kim Louise Richmond is thought to have headed south from her Wharepapa South farm in a silver 2014 Ford Ranger ute.

The registration number is HKD553.

Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Patterson of the Waikato West CIB said it was out of character for the 42-year-old to disappear and are concerned for her well-being.

Richmond is described as being of thin build, about 162cm tall with olive skin and dark hair. She also has a hearing disability.

She was last seen wearing a Highlanders rugby jersey, blue jeans, brown leather jacket and brown leather boots.

Police want to hear from anyone who may have seen Richmond or knows her whereabouts.

Contact Detective Sergeant Paul Van Der Zee of the Te Awamutu CIB on (07) 872 0100 or anonymously with Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
