Waikato Police are searching for a man who has been on the run since removing his electronic monitoring bracelet last month.

Cain Douglas-Tera was seen in Ngaruawahia. He is said to be dangerous, with extensive contacts in the Waikato.

Douglas-Tera is described as being 170cm tall, of large build and of Pacific Island descent.

Police warned members of the public not to approach Douglas-Tera and to report any sightings of him to 111.
