Police want to hear from anyone with more information after the frightening gunpoint robbery of a Christchurch dairy last night.

A man walked into Koki Dairy at 397 Linwood Ave about 8.30pm with his face covered and threatened staff with a firearm before demanding money and cigarettes, police said.

He was last seen running into Damien Pl.

Anyone with information should call Christchurch police on (03) 363 7400. Police can also be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
