An investigation is continuing to find a missing Horowhenua man last seen nearly two months ago.
Police are moving to dispel rumours 36-year-old Palmiro MacDonald has been found.
"We are still very much looking for Mr MacDonald and have serious concerns about his wellbeing, as do his family, given that it has been more than a month since he was last seen," said Detective Inspector Ross Mckay.
The last reported sighting of Mr MacDonald was on March 23 when he was seen travelling as a passenger in a silver Holden Commodore with a distinct boot spoiler and custom mag wheels.
Mr McKay said Police were following a number of lines of inquiry and keeping an open mind.
"The exact circumstances of Mr MacDonald's disappearance are still unclear but it is out of character," he said.
Police had executed a number of search warrants in the region and examining items of interest.
The missing man's family have set up a Facebook page 'Find Palza'.
Police appealed for anyone with information about Mr MacDonald, including sightings of him in the silver car, or information about the vehicle, to come forward.
