Neil Finn has asked for the public's help to identify two men who tagged the outside of his Newton Rd studio in central Auckland.

In a tweet this afternoon he posted two pictures of the alleged culprits. One man can be seen holding a marker and scribbling on what seems like a door. Another man wearing a yellow jacket is also visible.

They were both involved in vandalising the premises, said Charlotte Ryan of Roundhead Studios.

"We are in the process of sorting it out and at this stage, the police have not been contacted," she said.

The Auckland City Council will come in next week to clean it, she added.
