Several have been seen at airports making their way to Wellington and rugby fans are sharing images and speculation online.
Newstalk ZB afternoon sports host Tony Veitch is posting updates to his Veitchy on Sport Facebook and Twitter pages.
One says Liam Messam, Tawera Kerr Barlow, Brodie Retallick and Sam Cane were boarding a flight from Hamilton to Wellington.
On his show Veitch also said Sonny Bill Williams was seen at Auckland Airport with his All Blacks kit.
He tipped Waisake Naholo and Malakai Fekitoa to make the squad but Israel Dagg to miss out. Naholo was seen arriving in Wellington.
"What a cool story. Well done to the magic of Fijian medicine," Veitch tweeted.
The new All Blacks wing broke his leg during his sensational test debut against Argentina in Christchurch on July 17 and went home to Fiji for herbal treatment.
Another of Veitch's Facebook followers has posted pictures of Kieran Reid and Richie McCaw at Christchurch Airport - no surprises there.
Up in Auckland, Svend Fieldes says: "Just seen Charlie Faumuina running through Auckland Airport. He's made the team but maybe he'll miss his flight."
