The neighbour of former All Black Marc Ellis has denied knocking over a wall and dumping the rubble on his Waiheke driveway.
Jazz singer Briar Susanne Ross has been in a dispute with Ellis over the Matiatia driveway for months and was charged with causing intentional damage.
Her case was called before Auckland District Court this morning, in her absence, where a not guilty plea was entered.
Police visited Ellis' Waiheke property earlier this month to take photos of rocks dumped on his driveway, which allegedly happened on May 30 according to court documents.
Ross has been reluctant to comment on the matter.
"I've told my side of the story. I won't say anything until we've studied all the ins and outs of it and we've come up with the facts," she said previously.
However, Ross said she'd received "a lot" of positive feedback about what had happened.
Ellis earlier this month said he was "amused" at how the situation had progressed.
And last year, he told the Herald Ross was clutching at straws about the driveway dispute and it was a matter for lawyers to resolve.
Ross sent Ellis a legal letter last winter trying to stop construction work.
She will appear in court again in August.
