When should an iPad not be used as a camera? When in an audience for a children's choir. Why do some people think it's okay to use an iPad as a video camera or a camera instead of using something more discreet like a phone, or an actual camera?

It isn't easy when your child's health is not in your control. But the journey is made easier by the amazing public services and charities we have in New Zealand. Palliative care, developmental paediatricians, child development team, community nurses, local GPs, Carlson School, and Riding for the Disabled. Thank you all for helping us, listening to us, and ensuring our daughter receives the best care she can.

Several people, including families with children, have a meal at Burger King and then go and leave their mess all over the table. It does not set a good example. It takes only half a minute to put rubbish in the bin provided. It makes you wonder what their own homes are like.

A big thanks to the young lady who drove me to my car parked at Papakura train station because I had got on the wrong train and would have had to take two more trains to get there.

At intersection traffic lights, the right-turning red arrow phase is often too short. One example is at the Sandringham Rd/Mt Albert Rd inter-section, where vehicles were lined up to turn right into Mt Albert Rd and the arrow let three through before changing. Three more crashed the light and three were left. A few seconds more before changing would surely be an acceptable wait.

A big thank-you to Solomon, who works for Auckland Council's Waitakere office. Solomon went beyond the call of duty to find a Code of Compliance which had been misfiled. His find enabled us to sell our home. Solomon, you saved the day.
