Police are hunting for a man who robbed a student at knifepoint while he was waiting outside Massey High School on Monday night.
The 14-year-old was standing at the school's front gate after league training when a man approached him at 5.30pm.
A police source said the man pulled a knife out of his pocket and told the teenager to follow him. He then led him 100m along Don Buck Dr onto Galloney Ave where he demanded the teen hand over his school bag.

The boy shoved the bag at the knife-wielding man and ran back to the school where a friend's parent then drove him home.
Last night the boy's mother posted a message on Facebook warning other Massey High School parents of the incident.
"Last night my sons life was threatened outside the School while he was waiting for a ride after his league training. He was held at knifepoint and taken from the school."
She said her son was "ok" and was thankful he escaped with no harm but warned other parents to watch out for their children.
"Parents keep your Children safe and know where they are at all times. Have someone waiting there earlier or make sure they are in groups."
The school couldn't be reached for comment tonight.
A police source said the incident was being investigated as an aggravated robbery.
Police are looking for a tall Maori man described as chubby with blue eyes - which were reportedly bloodshot.
His is estimated to be in his 30s with short curly black hair wearing a white singlet and camouflage patterned shorts.
The teenage victim's bag has not been found. It is a black Adidas bag that had two cellphones and his league boots inside.
