Injured kindy kids sent to hospital

Emergency services have responded to an incident at a kindergarten in Rotorua.

Two children were taken to Rotorua Hospital with minor injuries just after 4pm today from Central Kids Kindergarten at Bellingham Cres in Fordlands.

Rotorua Daily Post has been told the injuries relate to bee stings but this has not been confirmed.

St John ambulance team manager Ptrece Gosney-Payne said the fire service and police were helping ambulance staff at the scene.
