Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom is talking up his plans for a new political party ahead of its launch.
Dotcom, who was born Kim Schmitz in Germany, tweeted today that his party will activate non-voters, the youth and the internet electorate.
The businessman, who is fighting extradition to the US on internet piracy charges, revealed plans for a political party last September.
The general election will be held this year.
My political party will activate non-voters, the youth, the Internet electorate. We are going to make politics exciting. More on January 20.— Kim Dotcom (@KimDotcom) January 11, 2014
