A fundraiser to get cheerleader Grace Hegh from Okaihau to the All Star Games in Las Vegas took a turn for the worse after a gust of strong wind.

A truck and trailer went out of control on a Hastings road, taking the driver "for a ride" before crashing through a street sign and shelterbelt.

Drivers at the Carterton roundabout flinched and ducked as a trailer-load of hay bales tumbled off a toppling trailer.

Finally Rotorua accountant Steven Slack has just bought the deal of a lifetime.
