The kitchen sink was about all that was left by the time burglars had finished at a Far North house earlier this month.

The haul from the settlement of Mangonui included four sets of net curtains, four sets of other bedroom and lounge curtains, three ceiling halogen bar lights, one of them brand new, a stainless steel Smeg underbench oven, a Beaumatic ceramic cook top, a Westinghouse stainless steel dishwasher, a stainless steel towel rail, a shower rose and flexipipe.

Also taken was a granite benchtop from the breakfast bar, designed specifically for the owner and the only one of its kind in the country.

The owner is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest of the offender and recovery of the property.
