Auckland Council will hold a public meeting to address the desecration of infants' graves at a Glen Eden cemetery.

The council last week apologised to families after three rows of graves in the infant and stillborn children's section of Waikumete Cemetery were ripped up to remove what the council described as "inappropriate or unauthorised plot decorations".

The meeting will be held at the Kelston Community Centre from 3pm on Sunday.
