Police have released the name of the woman found dead in her Picton home over the weekend.

Robyn Alma Grace, 43, was found dead after police were called to a disturbance at a Picton address at 4.30pm on Sunday.

Police said a post mortem examination was completed yesterday and have established the cause of death, however police are not releasing that information.

Detective Inspector Geoff Jago said the scene examination of the victim's home was continuing.

Police were also interviewing residents in the area.

Two people arrested at the address on Sunday appeared in the Blenheim District Court on Monday facing murder charges.

They are due to reappear in court on January 28.
