Arrests made over cemetery vandalism

Police have arrested two men over the vandalism of Jewish graves in Auckland.

A 23-year-old and 19-year-old were charged today with wilful damage and will face court this week.

Police spokeswoman Noreen Hegarty said the 23 year-old would appear in Auckland District Court tomorrow while the 19-year-old will be granted police bail to appear on Tuesday.

Investigations into the damage, at Auckland's Grafton Cemetery, are continuing with the possibility of further arrests
