Hard on the heels of his engagement to Amy Rhodes, All Black Richard Kahui has put his four-bedroom home on the market.

Kahui, a qualified builder, moved into his completed 250sqm Hamilton house in 2010.

The home, in a new riverside development, is being marketed as offering a "lifestyle of convenience and uncompromising quality".

Confirmation of the All Black's touch comes in the form of the letters spelling "Kahui" on a shelf in the modern kitchen. Other design touches include a black, white and grey colour scheme accessorised with pastels.

The kitchen and dining area open on to a large covered deck with barbecue and outdoor table. Described as a "real entertainer's dream" on a roomy 830sq m section, the property has a rateable valuation of $580,000.

Kahui's agent Kent Hale said he appreciated the interest in the sale but the former Chiefs star, now sidelined by a shoulder injury, did not wish to discuss it.
