The death of Ephrame Ronald Waihape, 40, has been referred to a coroner. There is unlikely to be any arrests made regarding the incident, a police spokeswoman says.

Mr Waihape was found unconscious by police on the driveway of a Flaxmere property on Saturday, September 29, and ambulance staff were unable to revive him.

In the days after his death there was a dispute between family members outside a funeral home regarding where he would be buried. The matter was resolved peacefully.
