A 30-year-old man has died in a crash between a car and a motorcycle at Paraparaumu north of Wellington.
Police said the crash happened on the corner of Ruapehu St and Valley Rd around 11am.
Inspector Ian Harris said the 30-year-old motorcyclist had died.
There were no other reports of injuries.
Serious crash investigators were at the scene, Mr Harris said.
The roads would be closed around the crash scene while an investigation was carried out.
