The body of a missing 21-year-old man has been found in a forestry block on the outskirts of Levin.
Police said Luke Rickett was found dead in part of the Kohitere Forest, east of Levin, by a group of his friends who were searching for him.
He had been missing since April 15.
Family members had been told about the death, police said.
A post mortem was set to be held today and the death was being referred to the coroner.
