The Queen's granddaughter caught in the middle of a royal rugby scandal after her husband of six weeks was snapped hugging an attractive blonde in a Queenstown bar will still visit New Zealand in a few days time.
CCTV footage released to the YouTube website by security guard Jonathan Dixon, shows English rugby player Mike Tindall getting cosey with an unidentified blonde woman at Queenstown bar Altitude last Saturday.
Tindall married the Queen's granddaughter Zara Phillips six weeks ago in Edinburgh.
The 12-minute video, narrated by Mr Dixon, has been removed from YouTube, but not before the footage went viral putting the still-fresh relationship into the international media's spotlight.
The Mail reported Mrs Phillips attended the International Horse Trials at Watergrasshill in County Cork, Ireland overnight (NZT).
At times she looked as if she was showing the strain but at other times she smiled and looked like she did not have a care in the world.
Mrs Phillips declined to comment on the allegations.
Her spokesman confirmed she would still travel to New Zealand to see her husband mid-way through the tournament.
She has discussed the incident with Tindall over the phone and is understood to be standing by him, The Mail reported.
Tindall is not part of England's lineup in Sunday's clash against Georgia in Dunedin.
