A man charged in connection with two jewellery robberies in Auckland has been remanded to reappear in Auckland District later this month.
Jose Jimenez-Perez, 26, is alleged to have been one of an organised gang of seven who robbed two dealers of $770,000 of jewellery in May.
Jimenez-Perez, who appeared in Wellington District Court today, was arrested in Wellington over the weekend after a tip-off to police.
The six other alleged members of the gang have appeared in Auckland District Court and been remanded to reappear.
