Yuko Hirabayashi, 28, was in New Zealand studying at King's Education language school in the CTV building.

She died when the building collapsed in the earthquake.

Yuko was from Japan and attended Torahime High School.

Her father, Toshiharu Hirabayashi, 60, arrived in Christchurch shortly after the earthquake to find his daughter.

"I intend to go to my daughter's apartment, and also visit her acquaintances here," he told reporters in February 2011.

"I want to go to the scene of the building collapse as well."
