Prince William will arrive in Christchurch early tomorrow afternoon.
His first visit will be to the Emergency Management Centre at the Christchurch City Art Gallery.
He'll then be given a close look at the shattered CBD during a tour of the red zone.
Later in the afternoon he will fly to Greymouth where the Mayor will take him around Shantytown.
The Prince will then meet privately with the families of the Pike River 29 before flying back to Christchurch for Friday's memorial service.
He will also visit the damaged suburb of Sumner and meet some of the local residents.
Prince William will fly to Australia on Saturday to meet those affected by Queensland's floods.
