Christchurch police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of a crash in the central city this morning.
Police southern communications Inspector Paul Fremaux said two cars collided at the intersection of Moorhouse Avenue and Durham Street at 10.36am.
One driver, thought to be in his early 20s, fled the scene, leaving his car blocking two lanes of traffic, he said.
The other car has been pushed to the side of the road.
