Two men have been airlifted to hospital after rolling a four-wheel-drive on State Highway 30 in the South Waikato last night.
The Rotorua-based BayTrust Rescue helicopter and the Taupo-based YouthTown Rescue helicopter were called to the accident between Bennydale and Mangakino about 10pm.
Night vision goggles were needed to find the accident scene.
The two occupants are both believed to have been thrown from the vehicle when it rolled.
The Rotorua helicopter flew a 19-year-old Bennydale man to Rotorua hospital with moderate injuries, while the Taupo helicopter flew a more seriously injured man to Waikato Hospital.
