Submissions close today on Peter Dunne's Child Support Review and the Revenue Minister says he has had a huge response.
More than 1,200 submissions have been received on changing the formula that determines the amount of child support that can be paid.
It takes into account the cost of raising children, the degree of shared care between parents who are living apart and the income of both parents.
Mr Dunne says feedback will have a big influence on ensuring that the child support scheme works as effectively as possible for the well-being of children.
