Police have released details of a man sought after a sexual assault in Tauranga more than a week ago.
A 19-year-old woman was the victim of a sexual assault on Takitimu Drive about 2.45am on July 18.
Police today said they were seeking a male Caucasian, about 1.9 metres tall with blond dreadlocks and wearing a black hoodie.
He drove off in a black Subaru WRX with tinted windows.
Police also wanted to speak to the female driver of a white Toyota van who picked the victim up shortly after she was assaulted and dropped her off in Papamoa.
She was described as a Pakeha female in her early 20s.
