A 30-year-old Taranaki woman has been rushed to hospital after her arm was caught in a conveyor belt.
The worker's arm was crushed by rollers and trapped at Silver Fern meatworks in Waverley.
Her condition is classed as serious. It is believed she will have surgery in Wanganui before being transferred to Wellington.
