Commerce Minister Simon Power heads to Australia today for talks aimed at furthering the trantasman single economic market agenda.

Mr Power said there was a high level of shared political commitment to accelerating the pace of achieving a single economic market and he would work with his Australian counterparts to get progress on short and medium-term outcomes which the two governments had previously identified.

Mr Power will also meet Australian ministers on justice issues before returning to New Zealand on Thursday.
