A student has been taken to hospital after a school science experiment went wrong.
A spokesman from fire communications said the experiment was being done at Immanuel Christian School in the Auckland suburb of Avondale.
He said one of the students inhaled chlorine and has been taken to hospital by ambulance.
A St John ambulance spokeswoman confirmed that a male student had been taken to hospital.
