Police are waiting for results from a post mortem which may provide information on a crash that killed a woman in south Auckland last night.
Counties Manukau Senior Sergeant Spencer Matthews said the 24-year-old died after she lost control of her car at about 10.30 pm while driving along Ormiston Road in the suburb of Flatbush.
She crashed into a stream and while she was pulled from the water she later died.
The woman was the sole occupant of the car.
