Maggie Barry is to take over from Bill Ralston on Radio Live, the station announced today.
Programme Director Mitch Harris said Ralston had been looking to reduce his work commitments.
Barry, who has previously worked on National Radio and in television, starts on the 4pm - 6pm Drive Show on Monday 30 March.
She said: "I like the energy and fresh approach of the station and look forward to putting together a lively, compelling drive show that reflects all my interests in the one programme."

Warbirds over Wanaka
Hundreds of aviation enthusiasts turned out to see some impressive aircraft in action yesterday at a preview of the Warbirds over Wanaka show this weekend. The popular event had been grounded for the past six years, partly because of Covid pandemic restrictions. This Easter weekend it returns, with a sellout crowd of more than 60,000 people set to attend today and tomorrow. Photos / George Heard
