At this year's Auckland Primary Principals' Association Music Festival, 3500 children from 500 primary and intermediate schools across the region are raising the roof of the Auckland Town Hall with songs such as Ten Guitars, Downtown, Surfin' USA and Abba's Thank You for the Music.
Tonight there's a rendition of Brooke Fraser's Saving the World, as well as cultural groups and a school band.
There are appearances by rock 'n' roller Tom Sharplin and also guests from the TV show Stars in Their Eyes.
At the final rehearsal yesterday it was time to focus - and the well-trained choir applied their "focus glasses" before starting performance preparations.
The festival is spread over six nights, with six different conductors and a different group of children each night.
Tonight is the fourth concert, and there are two more on Wednesday and Thursday next week.
Tickets are still available, but you'll have to be quick to beat the rush of parents and grandparents, caregivers and cousins.
