A Northland lotto shop has sold it's second First Division winner in just over three months, but it wasn't the massive $18 million Powerball win on Saturday.
A lucky Lotto player from Otago won $18.25 million with Powerball First Division in Saturday's Lotto draw.
The winning ticket was sold on MyLotto. The total prize is made up of $18 million from Powerball First Division and $250,000 from Lotto First Division.
It is the first Powerball win this year, continuing the winning streak from December where Powerball was struck on three separate occasions across the country.
Three other Lotto players also won $250,000 each on Saturday. The winning Lotto tickets were sold at Tony's Stationery and Lotto in Maungaturoto, Feilding Video Centre in Feilding, and on MyLotto to a player from New Plymouth. Strike Four rolled over and will be worth $300,000 on Wednesday.
It's the second big win in a few months for the Maungaturoto store. In November a ticket sold at the store won $500,000.
