Entry to the Northland Field Days at Dargaville next week has been reduced to $12.
Northland Field Days Society president Lew Duggan said the reduction from $15 was a
gesture of gratitude to longtime supporters of Northland's biggest agricultural event.
"We wanted to do something for those who had loyally attended the event year after year. We
needed to do something to say thank you."
The committee has introduced a new family pass so groups with two adults and up to three
children will pay no more than $30 to spend the day at the event. Entry for children aged 5-
16 remains at $5 each and children under 5 get in free.
A Northern Advocate headline yesterday said entry was free at the March 3, 4 and 5 Field
Days - our apologies, it is free for Under 5s only.
