If you have ever wanted to know how to make his and hers cow cake toppers or a fabric decoupage bracelet, now is your chance.
With craft workshops, demonstrations and cake classes, punters will get the chance to learn the tricks of the trade at the Cake and Craft Show this weekend.
Event manager Jakkii Goody said the show, formerly known as Dunkley's Great NZ Craft Show, was in its 32nd year.
"This year's event will showcase high-end retail craft by some of New Zealand's top-end entrepreneurs, artisans, designers and crafts people. With a proud focus on local handmade, homegrown talent and an opportunity to meet the makers."
The show will host classes on how to make SPCA fondant animal toppers, vintage rose cupcakes, cheeky frog cupcakes, fabric decoupage wooden spoon workshops and more.
This year the event will host a Formal Friday, where today there is a dress up competition for exhibitors.
"We know the best presented people come see us on a Friday so we thought we'd attempt to match them," said Ms Goody.
Other events include a $10 make and take cupcake decorating, plaster painting for kids, face painting for kids and face painting workshops.
The show, today, tomorrow and Sunday, starts at 10am at the ASB Stadium.
